Wall-mounted Spectral Sculptures

“Spectral” speaks to spectrums of light, colour and emotion. In these works, those spectrums converge into an intimate charged field where colour vibrates and light refracts, giving form to a concentrated emotional resonance.

Each sculpture begins with a concept drawn from philosophy or psychology. Rather than illustrating an idea, the work asks a more fundamental question: how can an idea be brought into being as colour?

Ideas such as acceptance, self-mastery and resilience are not symbolised or encoded. Instead, they emerge through optical behaviour – where colour forms through depth and transparency, and light acts as a central material.

Constructed through layered dyed resin on mirrored-polished surfaces, each work becomes a shifting spectral field where surrounding colour, movement and architecture are reflected and refracted across the surface.

No two encounters are ever the same.
